Terms and Conditions

All fees are payable on arrival. We bill for day in and day out. Your cat/dog's kennel will be accessible for your use until 10:30am on your day of departure.

We accept cash or cheques. Please make any cheques payable to "Greenbank boarding kennels and cattery". Cheques must be accompanied by a guarantee card.

Any pet not collected by 10:30am will be subject to a cost of one additional day's boarding. We hold the right to revise our costs when necessary. All costs billed will be at the current rate.

It must be understood that any cats and dogs boarded with others at Greenbank is purely at the owner's risk.

Any dogs and cats left for over 16 days without any communication from the owners may be considered abandoned.

Dogs and cats must have a collar with an identification disk attached.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times upon arrival at Greenbank farm. We accept no responsibility for loss or injury in the car parks.

It is recommended that all our customers view the kennels or cattery before the date of their pet's arrival. On arrival, after paying any fees and completing the check-in process, pets will be taken by our kennel and cattery staff. We do not allow owners to put their dogs or cats into the kennels or cattery as this can cause stress to the animal and long delays.

Greenbank boarding kennels and cattery will only accept or release pets within our pick up and drop-off times. If you require another time due to a schedule conflict please contact our office and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you do not arrive on the day that you booked the kennel or cattery, your reservation will be cancelled. We will try to contact you but if no contact is made we will not be held responsible.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is payable on arrival when you drop off your pet.

Bank Holiday Surcharge

A one-day surcharge applies per kennel or cat coop for all Bank Holiday bookings. This covers additional staffing and care requirements during these busy periods.

Peak Periods

Peak periods are defined as: the summer school holidays (mid-July to early September), Easter holidays, and Christmas/New Year (20th December to 5th January). During these periods, a cancellation fee of £30 applies. Outside of peak periods, we may offer a reduction in charges for shortened stays at our discretion.

Refunds

We do not give cash refunds. Outside of peak periods, if your pet's stay is shortened, we may offer a credit towards a future booking at our discretion. During peak periods, no credits or refunds are given for shortened stays.

Possessions

You are welcome to bring comfort items such as toys, blankets, or bedding from home to help your pet settle in. However, please be aware that Greenbank cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal items brought onto the premises. We recommend not bringing anything of significant sentimental or monetary value.

Immunisation Requirements

All dogs must be vaccinated against: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Para Flu, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough. Kennel Cough vaccination must be administered at least 72 hours before the start of the boarding period. All cats must be up to date with their annual vaccinations. Vaccination certificates must be presented on arrival — without them, we are unable to accept your pet.

Emergency Contact

We cannot allow pets to enter our facility unless we have an emergency contact number and address for someone who can be reached while you are away. This is for the safety and wellbeing of your pet.
