Greenbank terms and conditions

All fees are payable on arrival.  We bill for day in and day out. Your cat/dog's kennel will be accessible for your use until 10:30am on your day of departure.

We accept cash or cheques please make any cheques payable to “Greenbank boarding kennels and cattery”.  Cheques must be accompanied by a guarantee card.

Any pet not collected by 10:30 am will be subject to a cost of one additional day's boarding.    We hold the right to revise our costs when necessary.  All costs billed will be at the current rate. 

It must be understood that any cats and dogs boarded with others at Greenbank is purely at the owner’s risk.

Any dogs and cats left for over 16 days without any communication from the owners may be considered abandoned.

Dogs and cats must have collar with a identify disk attached.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times upon arrival at Greenbank farm. We accept no responsibility for loss or injury in the car parks.

It is recommended that all our customers view the kennels or cattery before the date of their pet’s arrival.  On arrival after paying any fees the completing check in process pets will be taken by our kennel and cattery staff.  We do not allow the owners to put their dogs or cats into the kennels or cattery as this can cause stress to the animal and long delays.

Greenbank boarding kennels and cattery will only accept or released pets within our pick up and drop off times.  If you require another time due to a schedule conflict please contact our office will do our best to accommodate you.

If you cannot get to our kennel or cattery within normal business hours please contact our office as soon as possible.

If you do not arrive on the day it that you booked the kennel or a cattery your reservation will be cancelled and the full boarding fee will be charged. Any bookings that are cancelled during our holiday or peak periods will incur a £30 cancellation fee.

We cannot allow pets to enter our facility unless we have an emergency contact number and address.

All dogs must have had a booster injection within the preceding twelve months and must be completely inoculated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Para Flu and Leptospirosis.
It's also required that you have your dog inoculated against canine infectious bronchitis (kennel cough).


everything your cat or dog needs for his or her stay at Greenbank is supplied. We've got a plentiful supply of playthings. If you would like to bring playthings, please don't bring anything special you wouldn't want to lose. The kennels are cleaned every day when the bedding is changed and playthings are readily lost.

Peak Intervals

Our peak intervals are summer, Easter & Christmas/ New Year. During these times we're unable to offer reductions besides our ordinary multiple occupancy reductions and we are consistently oversubscribed at Greenland’s.

There's a one day surcharge per kennel/cat coop for all Bank Holiday bookings. During our peak intervals we don't give credits for shortened stays.

Outside of our peak intervals we're happy to negotiate reductions for routine visits or long stay occupancy.

Any reductions negotiates are subject to fees being paid in accordance with our standard payment terms.


We don't give cash refunds.
