Greenbank isn't just a business to us — it's our family farm and our home. For over 15 years, we've been welcoming dogs and cats into our lives, and we honestly can't imagine doing anything else. We're not a big commercial kennels churning animals through a system. We're a small, family-run set-up on a working farm near Warton, and we think that makes all the difference. Every pet that stays with us gets to know us by name, and we get to know their quirks, their likes, and their little routines. It's personal — because that's exactly how we believe animal care should be.

Our mission is simple: to provide every dog and cat that comes through our gates with the same love, care, and attention they receive at home. We believe that boarding should never feel like a compromise — it should feel like a holiday. We're not interested in being the biggest kennels in Lancashire. We're interested in being the best. By keeping our numbers small and our standards high, we ensure that every pet gets to know us, trusts us, and — most importantly — enjoys their stay with us. Our Story
We've been running Greenbank for over 15 years now, and many of our clients have been with us since the very beginning. Some dogs first came to us as puppies and have grown up coming here for their holidays — we've watched them grow, and they've grown to love us right back.
We deliberately keep our numbers limited. That's not because we can't expand — it's because we choose not to. Fewer spaces means we can give every single animal the time, care, and attention they deserve. We get to know your pets properly — their feeding habits, their temperament, what makes them happy. We offer long-term and permanent boarding too, because some of our guests become part of the family.
Being on a working farm means there's always someone here. Your pet is never left alone — there are no empty, unstaffed periods. Our dogs are never left without human company, and that peace of mind is something we think every pet owner deserves.
